Hello Everyone!

Its that time.....Thought for the Week!  Ready! Okay!

Saturday as I sat with a new friend and watched Katt Williams, It's Pimpin, Pimpin, I  began to think about what would be my message for the upcoming week.  So I continued to ponder as I listened and laughed.  Then Katt Williams said something profound.  "You can't say, 'F everyone in the club' and then walk out."  Genius!  These words stayed with me all night and all day today.  Anytime my friend would say something to me or...

The Thought for the week is back ladies and gentlemen!  So let's just jump right on in.  Here is my question for you to ponder on for the week.

What is the ultimate act of love?

There are many things you can do to show someone how much you love them, but what is the ultimate act of love?  What is the the ultimate act of love?

What is Poetry?

What is Poetry?

Hmm, what an excellent question.  W.H. Auden calls it "memorable speech."  William Wordsworth believes poetry is "the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings."  My personal definition of poetry is simplier.  I believe that poetry is freedom of words.  Poetry gives a person the freedom to say things that we otherwise would never have the courage to say.  Throughout my life poetry has freed me from an emotional prison.
